Tuesday night we had dinner with John Holl (http://beerbriefing.com/) and his wife April at their home in Jersey City. It was great to get to have a real conversation with John without having a bajillion beer people around. He broke out some really great beers for us to try including some from Chile (one of which I totally loved). For our special dinner I whipped up a batch of limoncello cupcakes and they were the perfect dessert.
John gave us a goodie bag of beers to bring home with us and our beverage for toasting at the wedding.

So our RSVP date has come and gone and we have only 18 outstanding RSVPs....not bad, not bad. Bob and I decided to attack the seating arrangement because we know it's going to be the biggest headache and we already have some idea whats up with the missing RSVPs.
Our venue has 10 booths along the wall that each seat 4 people and we'll have 6 round 10 person tables and one long table as the head table (or two rounds in place of the one long). As you can see, the appetizer plates (thanks Dana and Jay!) are our booths and the placemats are our round tables.
Needless to say, some people are going to be at 4 person booths and they may not like it but they're just going to have to deal with it. You're only sitting to eat and we have some other cool stuff going on so it really shouldn't be that big of a deal.
On that note, do not be offended if you're in a booth vs. a round. We tried to make it work to the best of our ability.
